Approved leave lands on everyone's Google Calendar automatically — so meetings don't get booked over time off and nobody has to double-enter anything. Works at the individual level (the person's own calendar) or as a shared team calendar. Privacy-aware so medical and personal leave shows as "out of office" without exposing the reason.

Approved leave creates a calendar event on the person's Google Calendar with the dates, the duration, and a generic title ("Out of office"). Reason fields, leave-type names, and notes stay inside Vacation Flow — they never get pushed to a calendar where the wrong person might read them. When a request is edited or cancelled, the calendar event updates or deletes itself in seconds.

Each employee can connect their own Google account in one click — no IT involvement. Companies on Google Workspace can also connect at the domain level, so every new hire's calendar is wired up the moment their account is created. Disconnect at any time; nothing on either side breaks.
